Week in the Nest - 11.15.15

Week in the Nest is a weekly recap feature to discuss bookish things from the past week or so. I've link to The Sunday Post hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer, Showcase Sunday hosted by Books, Biscuits, and Tea, as well as Stacking the Shelves hosted by Tynga's Reviews :)

Can you believe that we're already half-way into November? We're about 6 weeks away from Christmas!? Has anyone started their holiday shopping yet? I'm quite the procrastinator for all things but I'm hoping to get a few gifts crossed off this month.

I feel like the majority of my book pals have been raving about two things these past few days: November 9 by Colleen Hoover and/or Winter by Marissa Meyer. Wait for me, you guys!! *runs after the bandwagon* I still haven't finished reading Cress yet hahah.

I'm very excited about this week though because Long Way Down blog tour starts tomorrow! Krista & Becca Ritchie are superstars at planning an epic tour. I can't wait wooooot! My post will be up on Thursday but you can follow along here. Note: if you haven't read this series yet, BEWARE it's highly likely some stops will be very spoilery!

  1. Hi Jae...I don't think I've visited before, so it's nice to meet you. I tend to be a bit slack about keeping up with blogs during the week and binge-read on weekends!

I know what you mean about November 9. I'm seeing it everywhere. I'm in Australia and haven't really seen people here reading it though so must check to see if it's available here / coming soon etc.

  3. No, I can't believe we're halfway into November. I need more time, haha. I'm thinking about gifts for the Holidays and some birthdays that are coming up in December but I haven't had any great ideas unfortunately.

    Have a great week.

    1. Tori Kelly is quite new to the music scene but she's definitely a rising star in my opinion! That's great that your holiday shopping will be less stressful then :)

  7. If it makes you feel better I haven't even read Cinder! I really really want to but it got a bit drowned out by all the review books. I'm hoping I can get it on audio though. November 9 is also on my list along with bunches of Colleen Hoover books. I'm starting to make lists and get organized for Christmas. Hard to believe it's only 6 weeks away!
