Chloe has one plan for the future, and one plan only: the road. She’s made a promise to herself: don’t let anyone in, and don’t let anyone love her. She’s learned the hard way what happens if she breaks her rules. So she’s focused on being invisible and waiting until she can set out on the road—her dream of freedom, at least for a little while.

Blake Hunter is a basketball star who has it all—everything about him looks perfect to those on the other side of his protective walls. He can’t let anyone see the shattered pieces behind the flawless facade or else all his hopes and dreams will disappear.

One dark night throws Chloe and Blake together, changing everything for Blake. For Chloe, nothing changes: she has the road, and she’s focused on it. But when the so-called perfect boy starts to notice the invisible girl, they discover that sometimes with love, no one knows where the road may lead.

What I'll Be Doing During The Holidays

Hii everyone!
I am happy to announce that my winter break has officially started.
I haven't been very active in the blogging world lately but I'll be using this time to catch up on a lot of stuff, blog-related things included! Thought I'd make this random post to share with you what I have planned for this winter break :D

1. Catch up on book reviews
Upcoming reviews on the blog:
Now that I look at it, I don't have much to catch up here haha.
But I always seems to take forever figuring out what to say in a review *sigh*
I also read the first book of a novella series but I think I'll do a series review rather than individual ones.

2. Make a [tiny] dent in my tbr list
It was incredibly hard to decided which books on my tbr to dive into during the winter break.
Here are four that I will for sure read (in this exact order too):
And if I have the time...
Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover
Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire
Finding Dandelion by Lex Martin

3. Catch up on tv shows
I have A LOT of catching up to do when it comes to tv shows. But there's always that dilemma of having to choose between watching my shows or reading books, and reading has trumped watching tv more often than not.
Here are the shows I'm actively working on getting caught up with:
I'm also thinking of starting/trying...

4. Work on some graphic edits
I have no doubt that I'll be making Amour Amour edits after I finish but here are sneaks at what
I'm working on (both are Addicted series related):
I'm looking to start my Character Spotlights again (so much for doing two a month lol)!
I just need to figure out who and make the quote graphics :)

5. Do a little holiday baking
DON'T THESE LOOK DELICIOUS? (Click the image for the recipe)
My dad is allergic to cocoa so we'll probably switch out the chocolate for graham crackers in the cheesecake dessert,
or make him something else entirely (he's not much of a sweets guy though).

6. Catch up on anime shows
I really need to try and catch up on these anime shows because the winter season is starting soon.
I'm so behind on these *cries*:
I'll focus more energy with Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso (2nd image) since that one centers around musicians and I loveee.
Also, I only JUST started season one of Kuroko no Basket (1st image)
There's no hope in catching up any time soon since I think season three starts this season.

7. Get a head start in next term's classes
I am determined to start the new year with my a-game on!
Here are the courses I have for the next school term:
Human Physiology
Environmental Plant Physiology
Cell Biology Seminar
Psychology: The Maladjusted Mind
Psychology: Child Development
The Roman Emperors: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
I WILL SURVIVE *sobs*

You'll be seeing this "On Repeat" business here and there in my future Jae Talk (aka randomness) posts! It's just so I can post the latest YouTube video that I can't stop watching hehe. Most of the time, it will be music-related :)

If you're not familiar with Us: The Duo, THEY ARE AMAZING
The fact that they're married and all heart eyes at each other makes my heart warm.
I'm so in love with them.

Blog Tour + Interview + Giveaway: AMOUR AMOUR by Krista & Becca Ritchie

Hello, lovelies!
First I'd like to say, AMOUR AMOUR IS LIVE!!!!!
I can't wait to start it! All I've done so far is stare dreamily at the cover.

Today, The Fluttering Heart Book Nest is a stop in the Amour Amour tour and I was given the opportunity to interview Krista and Becca! *silently fangirling* For those who follow the blog (or talk to me), you know that I have a slight obsession with their Addicted series and its spin-off, Calloway Sisters series. I swear, they're like writing wizards. So when the twins announced they were writing a standalone with an acrobatic element, I was stoked. I still am. I mean, talk about a unique story plot! I cannot wait to dive in this weekend after my last final! Be sure to check out the other tour stops and don't forget to enter the spectacular giveaway at the end. Without further ado, I hope you enjoy our talk on Amour Amour, tv shows and more! :)
