I meant to post this yesterday but of course my plan fell through. Let's pretend it's still Tuesday anyway! This week's prompt was "School Freebie" in honor of school starting up soon. We're to come up with a topic that somehow ties to school/education. Even though I've graduated and left academia almost two years ago, I still get very excited around this time because of school supplies and stationery! I was very tempted to show you my emotional support stack of untouched notebooks. Instead I've decided to split my list into two parts with the overarching theme being romance (of course). All of the books on this list are ones that I have read and enjoyed~

I feel like January just zoomed by and now Valentine's Day is right around the corner. What is my favourite aspect about the annual Love Day you ask? Sweet treats, duh. CHOCOLATE! This week's prompt is 'Valentine's Day/Love Freebie'. I'm going to mix the two and share some top-class, swoon-worthy dates/quotes that will always live rent-free in my mind. Or those that read books consecutively and still remember details from the very first book during a book binge. What is your secret?! The number of books I have on the back burner for reviews (most of my read books from 2016/7 and most from 2018) *smh*. That dreadful "review to come"... if you see it on any of my past GR reviews, I apologize. I lied ya'll.

Most of these characters are ones I would love to be besties with and just know we would click or have the most fun times together. For some, I feel I would be too nervous to hang out with them or be a one-sided bestie hoping they'll look my way and take me in as a protégé or something hah. Why? I'm a big fan of K.A. Tucker after having read her Ten Tiny Breaths series and meeting her at a signing! I love any sort of romance + suspense/thriller combo so of course, I had to add this one to my tbr :D

Can you believe that we're already half-way into November? We're about 6 weeks away from Christmas!? Has anyone started their holiday shopping yet? I'm quite the procrastinator for all things but I'm hoping to get a few gifts crossed off this month.

I feel like the majority of my book pals have been raving about two things these past few days: November 9 by Colleen Hoover and/or Winter by Marissa Meyer. Wait for me, you guys!! *runs after the bandwagon* I still haven't finished reading Cress yet hahah.

I'm very excited about this week though because Long Way Down blog tour starts tomorrow! Krista & Becca Ritchie are superstars at planning an epic tour. I can't wait wooooot! My post will be up on Thursday but you can follow along here. Note: if you haven't read this series yet, BEWARE it's highly likely some stops will be very spoilery!

Top Ten Book To Movie Adaptations I'm Looking Forward To

About half of this list have only been optioned for film that I really really hope go into production. *fingers crossed 24/7*
These are in a specific order from 'I NEED THIS TODAY' to 'Ooh sounds good, give it to me'.

1. Under the Never Sky*
With how popular CGI has gotten in films, I can imagine how amazing the Aether storms and virtual worlds would look like. And [more importantly,] I can imagine my drooling over the two actors that get cast as Perry and Roar ;)

2. Daughter of Smoke and Bone*
So I finished reading this book a few months back and loved it!
I feel like DoS&B could have LotR-potential cinematography (aka epicness).

3. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
J.K. Rowling, magical monsters and Eddie Redmayne.
Needless to say I'm really looking forward to being back in the wizarding world!
