Felix Love has never fallen in love--and, yes, he's painfully aware of the irony. He desperately wants to know what it's like and why it seems so easy for everyone but him to find someone. What's worse is that, even though he is proud of his identity, Felix also secretly fears that he's one marginalization too many—Black, queer and transgender—to ever get his own happily-ever-after.
When an anonymous student begins sending him transphobic messages—after publicly posting Felix's deadname alongside images of him before he transitioned—Felix comes up with a plan for revenge. What he didn't count on: his catfish scenario landing him in a quasi-love triangle...
But as he navigates his complicated feelings, Felix begins a journey of questioning and self-discovery that helps redefine his most important relationship: how he feels about himself.

Why? Aside from that ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL COVER, the synopsis of this book sounds amazing. I love self-identify and self-love driven stories and character growth. Honestly, I haven't read that many LGBT books and I'm hoping to right this wrong throughout starting this year. There have been sooo many new titles that have caught my interest for the coming month of May. Felix Ever After is definitely on top of that list!

Dig a little and you'll find photos of me in the bathtub with Ezra Stern. Get your mind out of the gutter. We were six months old.
Pry and one of us might confess we saved our first kiss for each other. The most clumsy, wet, sloppy... spectacular thirty seconds of my adolescence.
Get into our business and you'll see two families, closer than blood, torn apart in an instant. Twenty years later, my "awkward ducking" best friend from childhood, the boy no one noticed, is a man no one can ignore.
Finer. Fiercer. Smarter.
Taken.
Tell me it's wrong. Tell me the boy who always felt like mine is now the man I can't have.
When we find each other again, everything stands in our way—secrets, lies, promises. But we didn't come this far to give up now. And I know just the move to make if I want to make him mine.

Why? That synopsis!! I got chills... they're multiplying~ Confession: Kennedy Ryan is a new-to-me author. More like I knew of her books, recognized the name, but never read any of her books yet. I am very much looking forward to diving into this one. Second-chance romance is my jam. My bread and butter. I can't ignore that gorgeous cover either. It just screams QUEEN.
What are you waiting on?
